As Christians we should learn holy hatred. To hate all sin. We should pray always to have no attraction for things sinful. We should hate sin so much that we are appalled by the sin in our lives, and brought to tears by the fact that others sin. We should hate sin so much that we're willing to tell people about it. We should be willing to have it pointed out in ourselves as well so that we can stop doing something we hate and don't know about it. We should be quick to listen slow to speak and slow to anger. Scripture actually tells us to actively seek out and kill the sin in our lives.
Col 3:5 Don't be controlled by your body. Kill every desire for the wrong kind of sex. Don't be immoral or indecent or have evil thoughts. Don't be greedy, which is the same as worshiping idols.
Col 3:6 God is angry with people who disobey him by doing these things.
So hate it, kill it. Pray against your sins. Ask God for forgiveness always remembering that should the law against us roar Jesus' blood still speaks with power. Ask God to teach you not to sin. Pray for the repentance of those around you of their sins. Jesus came to destroy the works of the devil, perhaps we should be about that business as well.
